In regards to EPA…. Where are all the environmental groups who have made life difficult for American business since the seventies with the passage of Clean Air and Clean Water Acts? Marine Fisheries Act? Endangered Species Act? Where are they and why are they not screaming about all the SAI going on? Oh because they all believe the whole global warming mantra. May God have mercy on the earth. Men playing God. What could go wrong?
Some US ski areas did and some didn’t but they don’t really matter. Skiing doesn’t matter, it’s the snowpack to provide water for drinking, hydro, irrigation, wildlife etc. Some areas are lacking snowpack that feed important dam systems like the Columbia and Colorado Rivers. Hydro, irrigation very important. Skiing is not important at all.
The fuel used by ski areas could be used for FARMING. You see all the snow groomers on the Mt Bachelor clickbait vid from last week. People wasting fuel to drive up there to go play when it could be used to grow FOOD. Start growing food NOW on a massive scale because people are starving when they could be growing food. Get people back to work ASAP growing more food!!! Build more reservoirs for irrigation, get serious like back in the day before it all became a chick flick.

I hope some wise people will comment on what I’m thinking. Why is the snow and ice accumulation on Greenland increasing when looking at the past 6 years, but the Artic Ice and snow graph is way below any season ever recorded?
The “winter” season has been mild the past three years on the eastern slope of Colorado. Since I have been in the irrigation industry and watching the snowpack since 1980, we are coming out of our 22 year drought cycle. I suspect colder and more precipitation is coming in the next 10 years, for I am in the camp that believes in “global cooling”. I hope I can see the change before I die.
Greenland is only a small part of the arctic so what happens there might not be representative of the arctic as a whole. More importantly heavy snow in Greenland tends to result from winds from the east through to west i.e. from a relatively mild direction, that may well affect other parts of the arctic. Temperatures in winter may end up being more than 20 degrees above average but they’ll still be below freezing. Therefore for most of the year the warmer Greenland is the more snow is going to accumalate. The obvious exception to this is during the summer when mild weather leads to increased melting.

Warm air coming up from Thailand it’s where it’s 97F. Hot in E Asia from solar activity. Heatwave and it’s only April it’s going to get hotter and hotter with more solar activity in solar maximum.
